Halloween Horrors

29 Oct 2015

All hands on deck this week as we get prepped for a very busy Halloween weekend.

We've been doing everything from rehearing actors and supervising lighting to collecting mud for feely boxes and building ghosts out of chicken wire, not to mention that my expenses claim this month includes wind chimes, face paints, luminous aquarium gravel and five packets of spaghetti...

If you've got tickets for the Kid's Creepy Halloween then come down to the Pheasantry where the trail will start any time after 3.30pm. You'll need to pay in cash as we don't have any card facilities there and if you have the right change we'd be really grateful. If you're booked on the Haddo House Horror then just head on up to the house with your tickets.

Both events are fully booked for both nights (and we have quite a long waiting list) and there won't be any spaces available on the night.

Extra Treats for Halloween

If yu haven't been able to book on one of our organised events, then we've got a couple of extra little Halloween treats. On Sunday 1st we're going to have a mini-display of Owls from the Owl & The Pussycat Centre. The owls will be at the Pheasnatry from 3pm to around 4pm for you to meet and greet!

We've also got some superb Halloween-themed lighting in the park courtesy of Granite City Events, which will be on from dusk until around 7pm.

Back To The Future

Bit of a blast from the past (and future) at Haddo last week with our Back To The Future Night. The whole day was loads of fun with cowboys, props, music, food and of course three movies to watch. We're always keen on a excuse to get the staff in fancy dress so there could well be more big movie events coming up in the future.
