On a warm summer day, Haddo’s ancient wildflower meadows are full of spectacular coloured butterflies and other insects. We're delighted to have Dr Mark Young joining us for this event, where we’ll try to identify all our common butterfly and day-flying moth species, with a good chance of scarcer species including Painted Lady. We’ll also look for bees, hoverflies and dragonflies and, weather permitting, we’ll set up a moth trap overnight.
This event is aimed at adults and older children and will involve a walk of approximately two miles.
