In ancient Gaelic culture, storytelling was reserved for the period from Samhain (‘Summer’s End’) on 31st October to Beltane on 30th April. The ghostly season is inaugurated tonight with a set of strange stories, including: The Mysterious Beggar-man, The Bloody Bride of Featherstone Castle, The Vampire of Croglin Grange, The Berwick Werewolf, The Wicked Priest of Forvie, Mr Fox.
