A wonderful week of sunshine at Haddo for Riding for the Disabled around the Park, volunteers in the Wildlife Garden and Carpenters Cottage Garden and late summer visitors from near and far to see the House and Park including some from as far away as Sydney, Australia.
Wednesday was a busy day at Haddo with carriages and horses passing through the Park, in front of the House and round the Estate. Three beautiful horses walked and trotted with their riders in carriages behind. It was like a scene from the early 1900s before the age of cars! The clippety-clop could be heard by visitors and our volunteers in the Park all morning.
